Nyonsolive

Nyonsolive

SPAIN

Created in 1923, this cooperative brings together over 1100 farmers to make PDO certified, Protected Denomination of Origin, olive oils honouring their part of the country. Amongst their selection is the monovarietal Nyonsolive olive oil; made from Tanche olives, a rare and relatively unknown French variety. Having a light fruity taste, Nyonsolive brings hints of almond, artichoke and melted butter to your meals. With no bitterness to speak of, this olive oil has a round mild finish. Delicious over steamed vegetables, Nyonsolive is great with fish and a number of cheeses. The Cooperative also makes delectable table olives, notably their Nyons black olives. These herb-seasoned olives are unique in that they are harvested after the first freeze.
